Picture with some of the Seafield.fm members.

Members of the choir joins us for assembly.
Though I doubt they understood much, as they were telling us things in BM.
Can you spot them in the crowd?
Oh! There they are!
They follow the students of Seafield who are hosting them.
Into their classes.
Ah! Here's another bunch.
Memories~!
Walking to class, just like us Seafieldians do every morning.
Celebrity Treatment?
In class.
"Uh, What are they saying??? "

So many questions to ask them!

 Goodbye and tears
 More hugging
 Awww...
 See, we made real friends.
One of our seafield.fm members. ;)
 Pn. Ung hosted them too!
 Goodbye guys! We love you!

This Was A Triumph...

I'm making a note here: HUGE success. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.

The Seafield Carnival, people! We Seafield-ians did what we must because we can! For the good of all of us! (except the ones who have left)

Alright, I'm going to stop quoting "Still Alive." It's a little late but the carnival was a major success! While it didn't have the "zest" of last year, it was still enjoyable, nonetheless. We had tonnes of cool ghost houses (unfortunately, the writer of this post couldn't get in because the lines were too long), a dunking machine and all things Angry Birds that day.

Food was great and all in all, it was a win-win situation for the school, the students and the carnival-goers. The carnival was such a hit that the neighboring SK USJ 2's sports day was a ghost town because the REAL fun was right next door! Unfortunately, the writer was too lazy to whip out his camera to take any pictures so he's just going to "steal" some off Facebook (Crediting the original owners, of course! It's plagiarism if I don't)

All of these below belong to our very own Andrian Tam (because he takes a great picture and the others apparently prefer to use their RM3000 DSLR for cam-whoring and taking out-of-focus pictures)

Also, on a related note, here's Portal's "Still Alive," composed by Jonathan Coulton and sung by Ellen McClain, the voice behind Valve's many video games. Hope this brightened up your day a bit!

Last-Minute Update On the Carnival

Hi! In case you've just recently contracted amnesia or some other memory loss-inducing illness, here's yet another reminder that the school carnival will be held tomorrow (Again, from morning till about five-ish)

And in case you're thinking "Ah, five bucks for some lame haunted house?! Pfft! What a rip-off!", hold your horses! People have been working real hard for this, so show some support, people! Besides ghost houses with numerous themes that will make you go "AAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!! *swearing here" there will be other attractions like dance floors, shuffling, games involving water (I don't know exactly what, but it's WATER!! How is playing with water not fun!?) Anyway, below are just some of the many links to Facebook groups and pages promoting the various games and events which will be held tomorrow:

5E's Shuffle House : http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=199821650066719

Sensation of Spirits dancefloor : http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=228707850495834

5G's Haunted Asylum : http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=170135379718694

4A's Cemetary Of the Living : http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=249583745053457

4B's Erase Your Enemy! (EYE) : http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=173232302744122

5A's Seafield Undead http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=136040359810538

Japan Cultural Club's Mini Japan Fest : http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=239271092766928

And I'm not going to lie to you, I just blindly copied and pasted the first few links I saw off my Facebook news feed. The point is, there are tonnes of fun stuff to do tomorrow with friends, family and teachers too! So don't be on Facebook or on your game console tomorrow; get out! Join the real fun! That being said, tickets will be sold tomorrow for those that said "no" the first time.

Once again, Happy Carnival Day!

I Honestly Couldn't Think of a Title D:

Hey peeps!
It's been a while but we're back and congratulations to our newly elected board members:

President : Kimberly Ong
V.P : Olivia Yeoh
Secretary : Shania Kieran
Asst. Secretary : Alyssa
Treasurer : Heong Kian Ke
Music Man : Brandon Norbert
Tech Guy : Loong Yi
Special Ops. : Brandon Choo

All the best and good luck, and may you guys bring nothing but more awesomeness to Seafield FM ;)

Also, we once again apologize for the delay on the Heidelberg Youth Choir photos. Unfortunately, everyone is currently busy with pre-sales, school stuff and other things, so for the moment, just hang in there. Speaking of photos, we've recently been visited by our friends from the Land Down Under (Hint: Australia) and we have pictures of them too. Anyway, the photos of both groups will be up soon, so do check out the blog regularly and if you'd like to comment on anything whatsoever (COUGH* Song dedications), just type out whatever's on your mind in the cbox (Seriously, please do, it's loaded with spam).

As you may have noticed, there hasn't been any shows all week long as we're busy promoting the school's carnival concert, featuring Akim (AF 7) and David Arumugam of the Alleycats (He has a Wikipedia page!) And in case you don't already know, those songs are their songs and you know what? They're pretty darn good! The school carnival will be held this Sunday from morning till about five in the evening and if you guys are interested in watching David A., Akim and Justin live, along with our own "local" talents such as Generation and beat-boxing by our very own Aaron and Sam Saw, do grab yourself a ticket tomorrow or on carnival day itself for RM20 in coupons. But hurry, though! They're selling like hot cakes.

Finally, good luck to every one of you guys out there who have worked so hard on promoting your stalls and sponsoring your money, time and effort to make this carnival a success. We here at SeafieldFm would like to wish you guys a Happy Carnival Day and just have fun on Sunday! Also, remember to bring sunscreen lotion or at least a hat; it can get pretty hot.

Much love,
SeafieldFM crew. :)

Ahhhhh! ._.

Oh my,

We're so sorry for not uploading the photos of the visit from the Heidelberg Youth Choir. We've been awfully busy catching up with studies and etc. As our school open day, or as some of you might call it, Parents Teachers Day just ended about a week ago, many of us are working really hard for the upcoming JULY TEST.

Lets not forget about our PRE-SALES that's going on in our school. As many of you already know, SMK Seafield's annual CARNIVAL DAY is coming! All of us in Seafield are really buzzed up and excited about it already. One thing I can tell you for sure, that many of us Seafieldians are already putting on pounds (not in our pockets) which is converting into "spare-tires". Malaysians being Malaysians, eating is part of our constant activity. If you're not from Seafield and want to experience the 'Seafield Semangat', pop by on our carnival day. Details:

Date            : 17th July 2011
Time           : (whole morning)
Admissions : Admissions are F.O.C but the trade currency is Seafield Canival Coupons. You can      purchase your coupons on the day itself, or you can leave a message on our blog and we'll get back to you.

SMK Seafield's Choir Club has also successfully produced a full-scale musical production, 'WEST SIDE STORY'. They were amazing on stage and most of the people were enchanted and wowed by the showcase of our home-grown students. Not to mention, our awesome teachers also played several roles in the musical! (Yes, they were acting ;D)

As for today, SMK Seafield had another round of international visitors! Stick around to find out more.

Love,
Seafield.fm Crew. ;D
